Lydia Mackeogh, PsyD, moved to California
from Dublin, Ireland in 2008 to pursue her doctorate in clinical psychology at California School of Professional Psychology
(CSPP), Los Angeles. Graduating in 2012, she wrote her dissertation on emergency mental health interventions and was
a presentation speaker on culture and trauma at the UN Commission for the Status of Women Conference in 2011 and 2012. She
has a strong interest in crisis intervention and trauma response and has received training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral
therapy, and in psychological first aid with the American Red Cross.
